Are you “plateau-ing”?

Are you “plateau-ing”?

Tips for your “middle-game” šŸ’„

Good morning! Rise and shine, New Day ā˜€ļø

Do you sometimes find that you don’t want to do when you’re “in the middle” of a process?

You’re not brand new anymore, so you may lack that initial focus and intensity.

But you know that you certainly still need to be doing what you’re doing 😊

That initial experience of a change after an adjustment with me can sometimes give clients unrealistic expectations.

We might catch ourselves thinking, ā€œIf I feel this good now, after just two adjustments, my problems should be all gone by Friday!ā€ šŸ˜‚šŸ™šŸ˜±.Ā

Especially early on, it’s important to remember that when you feel ā€œbetterā€ after an adjustment– (when you notice less of feeling something bad, or more of feeling something good, etc) that this actually isn’t the care ā€œworking.ā€ šŸ’„

When you feel ā€œbetterā€ after an adjustment, that is the care showing us it’sĀ potentialĀ to work forĀ you šŸ’„šŸ’„šŸ’„

For most people living in this world who’ve had ANY kind of history with stress, trauma, and injury, you and your nervous system are going to need some frequent and ongoing doses of care to help turn the momentum around. #theresabackalog

ā€œMost people over-estimate what they can do in a year, but they underestimate what they can do in 2-3 decadesā€Ā
— Tony Robbins

But it’s not just that you need more Network Spinal now to compensate for your lack of it in the past. There’s another clarification I want to make.

Network Spinal doesn’t heal you. I don’t heal you. Medicine doesn’t heal you. NOTHING HEALS YOU EXCEPT FORĀ YOUĀ using the tools and the practitioners you have at your disposal šŸ’„āœØšŸ’—ā˜€ļøšŸŒ€šŸŒ

The short-game of Network Spinal is being able to feel that greater sense of ease, connection, awareness, etc after your visit with me, interrupting the old patterns and creating space for the new.Ā

The middle-game of Network Spinal doesn’t get talked about a lot, but it should!

That middle-term experience is when you are able to go beyond the episodic feelings of ā€œbetterā€ and ā€œworsenessā€ that you have throughout your weeks and you resolve to move forward with a new sense that YOU are healing you. And that I am here to help you in that project šŸ’„šŸ’•šŸ’„

Network Spinal does help a lot of people heal, in a lot of different ways, and to continue to get better over the long term as well (btw THANK YOU review-writers because New Day is up to 156Ā Google Reviews!!).Ā

But it does take a village. It is frequently the case that clients feel drawn to more and different healing modalities at different points in their care with me.Ā

My care with you isn’t necessarily a replacement for anything else.Ā And nothing else is a replacement for it.

You having a sense that there is something specific you want or need to do in the way of additional healing or lifestyle changes is part of the intended outcomes of the middle and long term of Network Spinal care.

The need or desire for more support doesn’t mean you are in a “plateau.”

When you get clarity on specific things you need to add or change to your life so that you can continue to progress, this can be an important step in the process.

Have you ever worried about being in a “plateau”? With me, or anywhere?

Here are some signs to notice that you’re “middle game” with me is going great (or some pointers for you to up your game!):Ā

  • You start noticing more, and different, things about your pain and your body during and between visitsĀ

  • You start to pick up on the patterns in your emotions, thoughts, and life that are bringing about your symptoms

  • You noticeĀ that your symptoms,Ā and how you feel about your symptoms, are two potentially different things šŸŠā€ā™€ļøšŸŽšŸŒ³šŸŒŒ

  • You might even sometimes forget the reason you first started coming here, because now you’re on a different trajectory āš”ļø

  • You feel more purposeful and participatory during your visits with me šŸ‘Æā€ā™€ļø

  • You feel less attached to leaving New Day in a specific feeling-state
    • You free yourself to feel surprise 😮

  • You feel more aware of how you are using Network Spinal care in the context of your life and of your desire toĀ optimizeĀ your experiences

It’s this nuanced “middle” period that inspired me, months ago, to have 50 of our clients journal in their “Wonderbooks” after their adjustments with me.

We will be doing another initiative around this soon, because the overwhelming feedback that I received from you sunshines was that writing for 5 minutes after your weekly care with me helped you:

Ā

  • Slow down and be more mindful and aware after your adjustments āļø

  • Helped you be more aware of your state before, during, and after your adjustments šŸ’›

  • Helped give you a sense of being in a process (and not an event)Ā

  • Helped you feel more productive in getting results during and after adjustments šŸ’„

  • Helped you have a greater sense of the stressors in your life and how they affect you ✨

  • Helped you feel more creative and focused– accessing new ideas and “aha’s” after and between adjustments šŸ’—

These are all key components for bringing the care process you are in with me (or any process) from episodic relief to deeper transformation and growth 🌱✨🌹

Thank you so much for your energy and participation, New Day! I look forward to seeing you today, tonight, tomorrow, and Thursday šŸ’–
