Open up to “aha!”

Open up to “aha!”

The Total Donny Zap

Good evening, sunshine! Thanks for being here– I am grateful for our connection 💗

Wow what a week and a half!

I’m continuing to harvest insights and awareness from Donny Epstein’s “Total Donny Experience” last week.

Many of you have been asking for me to share what the event and the experience was like!

As usual, it can be very difficult to describe in words an experience 😊

Experience is beyond words. Experience sometimes defies logic or categorization!

(Haven’t you ever noticed how it can be hard to explain to people what it’s like to receive Network Spinal care? 😂)

One of the things I’ve received from going to the event in Colorado last week comes back to just how much the moment matters– energetically and physically ✨

I’ve had an even stronger and more embodied realization that the intended result of discovering, transforming, awakening, and integrating through the nervous system and body is NOT to have us “graduate” into a constant state of energy-richness.

Healing, and experiencing, happen in the MOMENT 💥

That moment when we have an “aha”– in the form of a physiological change, a new awareness, getting access to a sudden deeper breath or a helpful movement in your spine or body.

This train of thought has reminded me of a Bright Souls Gathering I held several years ago at the “old” New Day (a workshop for our more experienced clients)

I created a graphic that was little a little line graph on a large piece of post-it paper that is meant to show two ways of experiencing your process of care with me.

If you can believe it, I happened to come across a version of this “line graph” I made in 2018 in an old notebook on the plane to Denver! ☀️💥💗🌀🌍

The top line graph is meant to represent the standard, “energy poor” or low-“energy neutral” way of experiencing my care or any healing intervention; you start out your week getting care with me, and then you steadily get worse again until your next adjustment 😰

Then, contrast this to the wavy line in the second line graph below it.

The point is, your subjective experience throughout the week may vary.

But along that wavy line of experiencing are little bubbles of “aha!”, when you are gaining access to the energy rich way of experiencing in your body and life through your nervous system.

The moment you feel pain, poor posture, tension, and thoughts and emotions that are less than energy rich, it doesn’t mean that your adjustment is “gone.”

And then there can be other times, hours or days later, when you find that you gain access once again 💥💥💥

Put another way– when I’m adjusting you, I’m not standing there putting something into you that then just gradually depletes in the days after your adjustment 😰😰

I’m also not standing there taking something out of you (something bad) that gradually comes creeping back in the days after your adjustment 😰😰😰

Rather, I am helping you find the “aha” moments when you gain access to a new perspective and a new way of feeling and functioning through your nervous system.

No one is having an “aha” every moment of every day of their lives (unless you’re Jesus or Eckhart Tolle or something!) 😂🙏

We then allow that “aha” moment to infuse our bodies and lives like a delicious herbal tea infusion in a cup of hot water  ☕️🫖. Enjoy it now, and enjoy it later 💗

Your experience at New Day is meant to be the tea that’s infusing the hot water of your life 🫖💕

Your weekly care is a practice for that so that you are more and more sensitized to having this in your life outside New Day.

The experience with Donny over the weekend, and then re-connecting with my notes from 2018, re-reminded me that it’s almost time for us to start another Wonderbooks process at New Day 🏡☀️💗

Because it really helps to have your own data with which you can create your own (empowering) narrative ✨

When we stop to register an experience and write something down, we are gathering our own qualitative data about our experiences in Network Spinal care to help us know our trajectory and be able to trust the process more than ever!

Thank you for co-creating with me, sunshines! I’ll look forward to seeing you for care today, tomorrow, and Thursday 💖

(But NOT on Saturday, since I’ll be in Iowa running the 7-mile road race 😰😂🙏☀️)
