What’s next for you ✨✨✨

What’s next for you ✨✨✨

Good evening, bright lights of New Day! Thank you for opening this message 💖

Today I’ve been thinking about “progress.”

What does it mean to have made or to be “making progress” in our care? (Or in our careers, lives, etc?)

For example, you start care with me at New Day, thinking “this weird new chiropractic is going to take to my pain away.”

After a few months, you realize that your pain has gotten a lot better. Definite progress. Now it’s easier to relax, concentrate, and be active.

“My pain went from a 6/10 to a 2/10 in 3 months,” you think. “In 3 more months I should be down to a zero!”

It is SO tempting to think this way 😢

But it’s a trap 😂

The beginning of any process is often marked with a sense of linearity. Just keep doing what you’ve started doing, over and over again and more often, and then you get the progress.

But after that, and just when we thought we had it figured out, the “progress” game changes 💥

Suddenly it becomes a lot more like trying to get through the part of the video game where we have kept “dying” over and over again 🔫😂🎮

We can’t just keep doing the same things we were already doing in the other levels and expect to get a breakthrough.

Additional time and effort aren’t even always the secret!

And focusing on the past or how things used to be won’t get us there.

Sometimes a sense of progress comes from a breakthrough that flashes before your eyes in a mere moment. A shift in perspective 🌀

Maybe your very concept of “pain” changes. And with that re-frame the game is completely transformed for you ✨✨✨

Have you recently gone from being “new” in care at New Day, and getting some “progress,” and now you’re choosing to continue care? But you wonder “what’s next?”

Or maybe you’ve been in care with me for months or years? What’s next for you??

I’m creating a conversation where we explore this topic of progress and “what’s next” using what I’ve learned and continue to learn from practicing this work for the past 10+ years.

There will be a presentation, and plenty of time for questions, discussion, and community.

One of the biggest benefits of continuing Network Spinal care is the depth we get to go to together, and the shared sense of momentum and energy we get from this community. You don’t want to miss this! ☀️💓🌍💥🌀

Please RSVP here! Space is limited.
