It’s my birthdayyyy! 🎉

It’s my birthdayyyy! 🎉

my, how we’ve grown

Best of days to you, New Day lovelies! ✨☀️✨

It’s my birthday! Yes, it’s true.

And for my birthday I am. . . hanging out at one of my favorite places (New Day), with my favorite people (you all!), smelling my favorite smells (White Angelica Young Living essential oil blend), and listening to my favorite music (our Spirit Week mix, which we’d like help with! Head to our Instagram to help!) https://www.instagram.com/newdaynsa/?hl=en  💗

Anyway, having a birthday on a Monday basically guarantees that you won’t be “doing anything special” (in terms of dates or exciting nights out on the town).

BUT– and I really do mean this– New Day is a special place to me and you are my special people! 🤗🌎💖

Thank you so much, to those of you who have been able to do so, for helping us with getting online scheduling off the ground.

Just so you know, this change to promoting online scheduling hasn’t just been a matter of bringing New Day into 2022, in terms of our systems. 🤓

Nor has it simply been about making it possible for me not to have a full-time staff person right now (although that has been helpful considering how hard it is to hire at the moment).

Really, what this change has been about is about upleveling and growing our relationship. 🌱💞☀️

That’s right. Relationships.

You’ve heard me say it before. It’s not about the “parts”– it’s about the RELATIONSHIPS between the parts (that’s why chiropractic and Network Spinal work, by the way!) 💥💥💥

Up until recently, I always took it for granted that a chiropractic office would need a full-time front desk person to “manage” the clients.

I had never really stopped to examine the limiting beliefs that were creating this reality.

You need a full-time front desk person in a chiropractic office, so the argument would go, because otherwise clients won’t continue scheduling according to their plan of care.

They’ll basically only come in when they’re in pain. ⚡️

And even then, you’ll probably have to reach out to them several times to get them out of their normal stresses and distractions and get them scheduled for their appointments. ☎️🌪📱

A full-time front office person is worth the money, according to this argument, because they make sure to keep people coming in for their appointments.

Working with my most recent employee, Eddie, helped me see what a limiting idea this was. 🤯🤯🤯

I’ve woken up to the fact that I was believing that most people couldn’t be trusted to prioritize their care with me– and with that should definitely NOT be allowed to schedule their own appointments online. 💡

Now, let me be clear.  This limiting belief of mine didn’t come from negative beliefs about you, our clients. It wasn’t like we thought you didn’t care.

Really, deep down, it’s been me not trusting that my work with you is good enough to value and prioritize. 🙏

Can you tell which one is me? I was friends with this little girl when I was age 3-6. She lived down the alley.  And I recently found out that she is now a chiropractor too. What?!?

I’ve been operating on the same premise that I operated on starting in 2013 when I opened New Day; which is to say that I’ve thought that this (Network Spinal) is a new thing for most people.

A new, perhaps seemingly chancey thing.  And so as the chiropractor in the situation I need to work and work and work to prove how good my care is. And all the while, I can never just relax and assume that you get it. ✅💡☺️

Meanwhile, the reality is that this April I will have been in practice for 9 years, and have been in the world of Network Spinal care since 2005 (17 years!). 🙌💖☀️

I am good at what I do!! And I am experienced.

I am learning more and more every day about how to help people, thanks to you and your willingness to show up and work with me in furthering your spine and nervous system health and overall well being. ✨🌀🙏

And so, thankfully, I can move forward with confidence and pride. I am so proud of what I have been able to accomplish, here, with you all.

And now that I am 41 I am really ready to embrace my expertise and my experience.  I was the new kid on the block, but now I’m not. ✨💥✨

And because of that our clients don’t need to be poked, prodded, and convinced to be in my care.

Our relationship continues to up-level and grow. 🌱💖🌎

Thank you, New Day community, for all the energy and goodness you bring! I’ll look forward to seeing you this week at your adjustments.
