Happy Sunday, sunshines! Thank you for opening this message during your downtime, family time, Sunday-Funday, catching up on work, or whatever this day is for you 💕

 

We’ve all probably heard it said that you get more of what you focus on.

 

Focus on what you don’t want, and you’re likely to get more of that.

 

It’s just how our brains work. Our brains are pattern-findng machines 🎯

 

And depending on the state of your nervous system and your energy state, the patterns are often past-based, problem-based, and trauma-based 😱

 

Then, we project those past-based patterns onto the future in an often subconscious effort to protect ourselves 🏰

 

Sometimes, though, it can be conscious. We fixate. “I won’t let THAT happen again.” And by our focus, we make it more likely that we will experience the unwanted again.

 

At the very least we are much less likely to get what we actually DO want when our focus and physiology is going toward what we don’t.

 

When you are instead focusing on what you DO want, what do you notice about yourself? Your posture? Your breath? Your energy state? ☀️

 

Because this isn’t about policing ourselves.

 

This is about noticing. When we observe ourselves and our energy state (AAA– Awareness, Acknowledgement, and Acceptance) we automatically begin to free up energy things naturally start to change. Make sure you are practicing this 💥💥

 

I’ve also heard it said that “you don’t get what you want. You get what you’re interested in.”

 

 

 

 

 

 

So you might think you know what you want. . .

 

But if you spend hours being interested in drama, what other people are doing on Facebook, Trump/the news, how to protect yourself and avoid harm, etc., that’s what you’ll get instead. Again, it’s just something to notice 😮

 

I have noticed that the sunshines who do the best in my care, who get the best results and who add the most energy to New Day (and myself in it!) are the ones who are interested in this ✨🌀

 

Interested in Network Spinal, interested in the 12 Stages, interested in what I have to say about it every week, interested in people’s success stories, interested in stories and evidence that demonstrate human possibility, transformation and change, and life being good 💗

 

Basically, those who are staying engaged in the process of my care and can observe themselves when they are not here at New Day.

 

This engagement and interest can include recognizing when things have become stale and routine for us, and taking an action to update our understandings and experiences (Do you need to attend to a workshop or event with me? Talk to me about a question or concern you have? Go back and read or re-read some of my weekly messages to get you feeling more creative and purposeful?)

 

If you are reading this message, this is most likely you already 🙌 But it is a practice! We all sometimes go unconscious for a while 😰

 

For example, I became aware recently that I haven’t raised the prices for my care in SEVERAL years 😬

 

The price of an individual visit, which serves as the base price for all careplans/payment plans, has not changed since before I moved into this new office 3 years ago.

 

Any time this thought has crossed my mind over the past few months, I have pushed it away/gone through a mental montage-scene of the negative things that could happen through my addressing this.

 

“Oh. So-and-so won’t like it. So-and-so might stop coming. And it will be so much trouble! I’d have to change the pricing sheets, and change it in our scheduling/payment system. And the economy is bad” etc.

 

Hmm. Can we say “Energy Poor” 🙋‍♀️😂😮

 

At least I finally noticed it! 🙌

 

 


 

 

BEMER is back! Except now its not on a chair (as pictured above ⬆️) but instead on a flat surface. There are reasons for this. I’ll blog about it soon!

 

 

Having observed myself in my reaction and having freed up some energy, I am now instead focusing on what I DO want 💥

 

How can I have it be the case that everyone here– you sunshines coming in, and me and Taylor working here– can have the best, most integritous experience possible? ✨

 

How can I have it be the case that I can continue to spend most of my time and focus on the folks who value this place and what I do the most, who are prioritizing their care with me every week, taking responsibility for their scheduling, and who care about me and New Day sustaining and thriving? 💗

 

How can I reward and incentivize those who use this care in a way that is most likely to lead to the best possible outcomes (weekly and independent of pain, problems, and symptoms)?

 

Now I’m feeling energized, I’m focused on what I want (and my posture, breath, and general physiology are the “tells” that I’m on the right track) ✨🌀✨

 

Here’s what’s happening. My price per regular visit is increasing by $5 ✨

 

This change will affect all those paying per visit for care, and every careplan/payment plan. With ONE exception.

 

Weekly Care Club, which is the monthly auto debit for weekly care, is actually not changing in price at all 😮

 

I found a way to finagle the pricing so that I can continue to focus on and reward some of New Day’s best and brightest.
