Good morning and happy week-before-Christmas, sunshines ☀️

I hope you had an amazing weekend.

This week I am feeling extra inspired by what Eckhart Tolle has to say about the power of the present moment✨

Google was there for me today when I wanted some gems from Tolle, author of The Power of Now

I’ve been blogging a lot lately about the power of your care at New Day to interrupt your past-based, stress-based, pain-based, habitual ways of feeling, thinking, and being. It all comes back to the power of the moment 💥

I’ve also been blogging lately about some ways you can approach your care in the medium term and the long term; stringing those “moments” you have with yourself, your spine, and your nervous system to create more change in your health and your life.

Hope these inspire you on this magical week with our winter solstice coming on Saturday ✨✨✨

❄️ “Die to the past every moment. You don’t need it. Only refer to it when it is absolutely relevant to the present. Feel the power of this moment and the fullness of Being. Feel your presence.”

✨ “It is when we are trapped in incessant streams of compulsive thinking that the universe really disintegrates for us, and we lose the ability to sense the interconnectedness of all that exists.”

❄️ “Realize deeply that the present moment is all you will ever have. Make the NOW the primary focus of your life.”

✨“All negativity is caused by an accumulation of psychological time and denial of the present. Unease, anxiety, tension, stress, worry – all forms of fear – are caused by too much future, and not enough presence. Guilt, regret, resentment, grievances, sadness, bitterness, and all forms of nonforgiveness are caused by too much past, and not enough presence.”

I look forward to seeing you at your appointments this week! Please get in now, because I will be closed NEXT week (and two days the following week due to New Year’s)

Since the holiday falls in the middle of the week, and since I have not had a full week off in over a year (!), I am closing the office for a week so that I can have some rest and relaxation 😴

Then I’ll be back the next week (minus New Year’s Eve and New Years Day– also falling in the middle of the week this year!)

If you are a Care Club sunshine and you see me every week for a reduced monthly price, I encourage you to throw in an extra visit on some other week soon to make up for any missed time over the holidays ❤️💚💛

Skokie, and especially downtown Skokie, has got it going on 💥

Many of you have noticed this, taking a little time to enjoy some of the wonderful things this area has to offer when you come in for your appointments with me 💕

I feel a lot of pride watching this video because I feel like I really saw this coming two years ago when I had the idea to move New Day, and my family, from Chicago to Skokie.

It was important to me to bring my clients to an area that felt good to be in, that is multicultural, and where there were coffee shops, cafes, stores, and small businesses they could enjoy 💥☀️🌍💗🌀

I have loved the feedback from so many longtime clients that although coming to the “new” New Day might be a further drive for them, that they enjoy being in Skokie once they get here 💗🏡☀️

This segment aired this past Friday night on the local news. I hope you like it!
