This month, we’re celebrating a beautiful mother + daughter duo that drives from afar and whose journey through care reminds us that healing never happens alone 👯♀️
They first came to New Day searching for something different — a deeper way to support anxiety, depression, and the connection between mind and body. What started with curiosity and an open mind turned into moments of profound change.
We thank these two so much for being open to sharing their stories and being an inspiration to others. Thank you for shining so brightly ☀️☀️
What first brought you to New Day?
Patti: I had a genuine interest and curiosity for this kind of care, from other practitioners I found on Instagram. Knowing that there are many ways your body communicates and heals, I thought this could be an alternative care for my daughter that was going through a tough anxiety and depression period. She agreed and we came.
Natalia: It was completely my mom’s idea, I think she saw it on social media, but I was open to trying something new and different to help with my depression and anxiety.
How did you feel before you started care here?
Patti: After watching my daughter receive care from Dr Katie I was interested in experiencing it myself. Something about caring for the caregiver that was stuck in my mind. I was a little bit of a skeptic but truth to be told I am even more skeptical of quick fix promises. I also trusted my own intuition and it was telling me this was alright.
Natalia: I felt stuck. I felt like the medication and therapy I was doing at the time had reached a plateau of improvement. I felt like my lack of motivation was permanent.
Can you share that specific moment where things started to shift, and what did that feel like?
Patti: I have this clear memory of a deep breath that felt so good, so invigorating and calming at the same time. From then on I can rely on a deep breath to find calm and reset.
Natalia: After the first day. That next morning I woke up early for the first time in months. After the first week, I was looking forward to the relaxation that came with every adjustment.
What advice would you give to someone considering Network care for the first time ?
Patti: I would say don’t overthink it. Let your body talk to you and let Dr Katie help you regain that communication back.
Natalia: Keep an open mind and remember that improvement might not look like what you’d expect.
