Could your hairstyle (or glasses, or clothing) be hurting your neck?

Plus scroll down ⬇️ for holiday days and hours
Good evening, sunshine! Thank you for being with me tonight☀️🌕🌃
On Monday night I was unpleasantly surprised to find myself seriously sick! We had to cancel everyone’s appointments Tuesday and Wednesday 😵🎻
Which has been seriously TERRIBLE timing with Christmas and New Years week coming up. And not to mention all my carefully laid plans with so many of your reassessments ongoing 😂😭🙏
Today I’ve been resting, and had Rita here earlier giving me the vitamins and minerals IV! 👩⚕️💧💊
Tonight I wanted to send out a couple of messages from past blogs that I now feel it is important to re-share. There are some of you sunshines who these are meant for in particular 💕
As it stands, I am planning to be open tomorrow (Thursday), Saturday morning, and then Monday before Christmas. There are still some openings in the evenings– please schedule your care if you still need to!
Could a hat or a hairstyle. . .
actually be harming your spine?

I recently had the interesting experience of getting some glasses for the first time 🤓
I have worn contacts for many years to help me in seeing further away.
But for several reasons I have never worn glasses.
I’ve always felt that they don’t fit my face and head, don’t look good on me, are not practical given the fact that I have a physical job and also work out a lot, and are just generally NOT comfortable 😱😭🙏
Recently, though, I became aware of a special line of hand-made glasses where the frames are specially fitted to the individual 💥
I got swept up in the excitement and began to think of how I might want to mix it up by wearing some glasses every once in a while! So I decided to order from Nathan Hill of Framed Optical.
On Friday, when I received the glasses, I decided to wear them instead of my contacts all day to see if I could get used to them 🤓💃💥
The next morning, Saturday, I woke up and my NECK WAS REALLY HURTING, Y’ALL!
Even I, with everything I know and continue to learn over the years, didn’t initially put together what it could be that had my neck and head feeling so stiff and achey 🤓😂😱
(Before you read any further, I want to make it super clear that the glasses in and of themselves are not the problem! I would HIGHLY recommend Framed Optical. The glasses were specifically fitted to my face and are as personalized as they could be!)

Everybody’s talking about the “nervous system”. . .But what about the SPINE??

Blog by me, written in August 2024
Public interest around nervous system regulation and dysregulation is in response to a HUGE need for techniques, modalities, and practitioners who are willing to go deeper 🌀
I think a lot of people started to notice that medically (and even in the realm of natural health!) you can work on fixing the parts all day long, but if the system is habitually in a stress-response, the fixing can’t go very far.
I think also, with the rise of psychotherapy and general acceptance (and embrace) of weekly talk-therapy as a helpful ongoing wellness practice, people also started to realize that you can change your thoughts and work on thinking differently about your past traumas and stressors, but if your nervous system and body aren’t on board it could be a losing battle 😢
In short, the interest around the nervous system, and the many ways you can address your nervous system, is too huge and too numerous to be contained within one type of practitioner and one profession.
We need healing on many levels, and from multiple angles and perspectives 🙏✨🌍
The unique and helpful thing that I think Network Spinal has to add to this growing body of work about the nervous system and how to address it is the central role of the SPINE in expressing, modulating, and limiting energy and information to move freely through the nervous system (ie for you to be able to move, have emotion, feel, think, and function).
And by “spine” I’m not primarily talking about the bones of the spine.
I’m talking about the continuous system of bungee-cord like nerve tissue from your brain and brain stem, through your spine cord, and then branching out into your body ✨💥🌀💗
