I’ve been DYING to write about these topics!!!

Good afternoon, sunshine! It was so wonderful being with so many of you this weekend at New Day Fest (for a recap, scroll down this message!
New Day Fest was the cap-off of another year here in Skokie, and the beginning of our THIRD year here 💥
The party is both a culmination, and a new beginning 🌀
And, as even a casual observer would gather from our email and social media activity, there was quite a lot of build up and excitement leading to last Saturday with the party planning and getting the word out.
In fact, I’ve been so busy with all of that for what feels like so many weeks that I have found that I am REALLY missing my “normal” weekly rituals 🥲
One of those weekly rituals includes sitting down Friday or the weekend to write a blog to send as a message to engage you, inspire you, and help you in your process of care with me ✨✨✨
I’ve been practicing as a Network Spinal chiropractor for 13 years! That’s a lot of experience for me in listening to people and putting my hands on them, not to mention all the seminars and continuing education, etc.
But weekly writing, I would say, is one of the main things that has helped me to help you the most in the last 13 years. It is one of the things that makes me different than other practitioners and doctors that you might have worked with.
I’m so grateful for the time I’ve taken to do this and not to brag but I do think that this investment in my expertise pays off in the results I am able to get with clients.
(The workshops, and specifically Intro to Care are the other thing that I think has my care and this practice produce greater outcomes for clients than other sorts of practices ✨)
Over the last several weeks that we’ve been party planning and advertising New Day Fest to you, potential blog topics have been jumping out at me like crazy!

I believe so much in the power of writing and journaling,
that I recently took 50 of you sunshines along on a 3 month journey with this to help you get more out of your care with me
(we will be doing another initiave around this soon!)
There’s such a build up of potential topics that I feel like if I don’t get back to writing soon I will burst!
Until then, here are some of my ideas for upcoming weekly messages. You might recognize one of these from a recent interaction you had with me (if so, THANK YOU for the inspo 💕)
Potential topic #1: “Not WHY. WHAT”
- The main jist 👉 See if you can notice yourself when you’re trying to “figure out” your pain and problems, as this is often reflective of a low and unproductive energy state.
- Being present and focusing on what is occurring for you will bring healing 🌀
Potential topic #2: “You’ll continue to get more of what you keep focusing on”
- The main jist 👉 One of the reasons why Network Spinal works is by helping people break through their habitual ways of focusing, feeling, and functioning (many of which are NOT by choice but are automatic)
- Work actively with me to use your time on the table, and increasingly between adjustments, to become aware of new and different functioning and feeling 😊
Potential headline #3: “Network Spinal is not a magic spell that takes over your body.”
- The main jist 👉 Yes, it may at times feel “magical”
- But notice if you find that you are laying on the table, or being out in your life, “waiting for something to happen,” as this suggests a passivity that is not conducive to the changes we are looking for.
- It’s not happening TO you, it’s happening THROUGH you, and BY you, your body and nervous system 💥💥💥
Potential headline #4: “Are you ‘chasing the dragon’?”
- The main jist 👉 Look out for your attachment to a certain experience or certain type of experience on the table or after your adjustment.
- There are a wide array of things to notice and feel during and after and adjustment.
- See if you can be willing to be where you are, not where you are trying to get to 🏞️
I would be willing to bet that many of you reading this, through your history of reading my messages and your experience of being in care with me, would be able to put on your “Dr. Katie hat” right now and say a few helpful things on each of these topics 😊☀️💕
I’d LOVE it if you wrote back and let me know which topic you’d like to hear about most for when I do finally sit down for some creativity time 🖌️🌀
And I look forward to seeing you at your adjustments with me tonight, tomorrow, and Thursday (no Saturday this week because I’ll be out of town at a wedding!) 💖
