Why keep coming back?
Special blog from Dr. Virginia
Greetings New Day community!
Happy New Year to you all! We are grateful to you all for helping us shower the office with your New Year intentions and affirmations.
Thank you to each of you for adding your special ingredient to the community! Your energy and aliveness ripples throughout the community and tending to your mind and body connection is essential! Your community gives YOU thanks!
Despite the great care and the good vibes, how many of you have ever been asked why do you keep coming back to New Day? How many of you have asked yourself why do you keep coming back?
I don’t know about you, but before I was introduced to the true science and philosophy of chiropractic I thought once you go you always have to go back because they will make you! Which was a scary thought!
Those thoughts seemed to make sense until awareness set in about exactly what the nervous system is and what it does.
Each and every single one of us human beings has a nervous system. This is the system that connects the brain and body together.
This connection comes through our spinal cord and the nerves branching out to regulate every cell in the body. The nervous system controls every single action.
Not only does the nervous system control the output and actions, it also regulates the input and way we are able to process each and every moment.
A vital and important system that is essential to check in on, wouldn’t you agree?
And to create sustainable shifts in the way you process every input and output, we need momentum!
If you pause to think about tending to other systems, parts of the body and life in general, is it ever a one stop shop? Is it possible to work out one time and never go back? Eat healthy one time and see that ripple forever? Do yoga one time and see lasting benefits? Is it possible to do any one of these only two times or twenty times and see the long term benefits?
Focusing on long term benefits and your own specific goals here at the office is why you may see some fellow practice members coming in multiple times a week, month or year, depending on what type of care someone’s nervous system needs at that time.
These last few months have played an interesting role for many that may be reading this right now. Adaptation to each moment and the daily environment is essential at all times, and the awareness of this has become significantly amplified at this time.
How does one go about improving the ability to adapt? Is there any certain strategy you currently have? Or have you ever taken a pause to ask this question?
What controls our ability to process everything that happens and then delivers the messages to create the action to adapt?
Yes! Our incredible and intricate nervous system!
When you come in for your adjustments here in the office you are tending to the integrity nervous system and your community gives YOU thanks!
Thank you for reading, and for continuing to take such good care of yourself and your nervous system. See you at your next visit. ☺
