I would clean a whole house for $80

I would clean a whole house for $80

Starting next week ✨

Good morning, sunshine crew! How’s this week looking so far?

I was very busy this weekend. First with the Awaken 12 Stages workshop at New Day, which was OUT OF THIS WORLD (and with more souls than I thought we could fit in the room!) 🌍☀️🌀🌠

Second, I finalized the Wonderbook 2.0, which many of you all reading this will be using for the next 4 weeks, starting next week, after your care with me as an exploration and self-assessment tool 💥

The general flow of care at New Day, and at most Network Spinal offices, is this: You start care with a problem you want improvement on.

And, at that first visit, I see evidence in your spine and nervous system functioning (as measured with our scans, with posture, and with subjective experience) could be causing or contributing to your issues.

Then, we work together in a focused manner for several months (exact length of time depending on often I’m seeing you).

Then, we do our first “reassessment,” using the same measures as we originally used, to substantiate the changes in your spine and nervous system so far, determine how this is contributing to your overall wellbeing and sense of improvement, and determine a plan going forward 💥💥💥

In many cases, your original concerns have resolved or receded in some way.

In other cases your original concerns have come into clearer focus, now that we’ve helped cut some of the “noise” out of your nervous system, and you’ve gathered with new insights and energetic resources for your continued healing process ☀️💓✨

Either way, there is a way in which that first reassessment feels like “closing the loop” on some aspects of how you initially showed up for care. And that we are now beginning a new chapter 📖☀️🌱

What happens next, and how we can optimize your continued care has always been a question, and something I’ve spent years of practice learning about through working with hundreds (thousands?) of clients.

Many of you decide that Network Spinal care is helping you SO much, and in so many more ways than you might have initially thought it would, that you want to continue working with me over the longer term (my not-so-secret wish for you)💓

But, in this more self-directed process, what are the goals? What’s the focus? How do we ensure that this experience of ongoing care with me continues to live up to it’s transformational focus, and doesn’t instead devolve into the Energy Neutral realm of “maintainence” 😱

THIS is where the in-office activities, journaling experiences, workbooks and self-assessments have come into play.

We are beginning a new, FREE, 4-week process NEXT WEEK that is geared toward those of you receiving weekly care and have been working with me for months or years ☀️👯‍♀️ #brightsoulsrollcall

Newer folks will also be invited to participate, to be part of the group momentum and “mind-meld” even though you might not have had your first reassessment yet 😊

This life-changing care is a structure in our lives, and a practice where we learn, grow, and get to know ourselves better.

There’s something interesting I’ve noticed about ME and how I show up that this Wonderbooks 2.0 process is bringing to the fore 😮

Some of you might know, but many of you don’t, that I cleaned homes for a living for  many years before I became a chiropractor and opened New Day 🧹✨🧹✨

Here was my method of operation. I would make an advertisement in the form of a paper flyer, or a Craigslist ad, looking for people in the market for every-other-week house-cleaning.

Often, I would be contacted and the potential client would insist that I might need to see their home to be able to determine a price and frequency. They would say that because of this or that particularity, the square footage of their home, etc., that they needed me to see their place to produce a quote.

I would usually oblige this person, showing up to the stranger’s home or apartment (fearlessly, I might add! I never worried 😂) even though I already knew exactly what I would tell them and recommend ✨

Pretty much across the board, whoever the person and whatever their situation, I would propose to clean the person’s home for 4 hours, every other week, and that I would charge $20/hour for a total of $80.

(It seems CRAZY now! I mean, there’s been inflation. But still, this wasn’t THAT long ago!!) 😱😂🙏

Through my years as a housekeeper I learned some pretty deep layers of understanding people and how they live.

No matter who you are, there tend to be similarities in the way that you live and work. The kitchen will take about half the time allotted. The bathrooms, usually another quarter. And the rest of the house would be the final quarter of the total time.

But why 4 hours? And why only $20/hour This is where we come to understand more about me ✨✨✨

I know myself and that I have high standards for myself and what I can accomplish. And I expect others to recognize this about me, and give me the time, space, and creative license to focus, work hard, and do what I can do.

Second, I want to reward people who understand that this is a process. This is a practice. This is a lifestyle.

Cleaning the blinds, for example, isn’t a first-day-on-the-job kind of job. It’s not even a second day kind of job!

There is no “one-time” cleaning that’s going to do it all. Because there’s the life you’ve lived up until now. And then as soon as I leave, there’s your continued way that you live and with your home as a reflection of that.

Some might say that I was undercharging. And true, there does always lurk the danger of “overgiving” (giving of our time and energy from and Energy Poor functionality) with an expectation that you are owed something in return.

To me, however, I felt it was a fair exchange because this person is putting their trust in me, over time, allowing me to work the way I think best. Through the ups and downs and periodically being able to reach new baselines of cleanliness and organization ✨💓🧹🌍🌀

Is any of this sounding familiar?

THIS is why my Weekly Care club sunshines (paying a low monthly fee for weekly care) hold a special place in my heart. You are putting your trust in me, over time, and hence I strive to pour my work and creativity into you.

When I raised my prices several months ago, the only group I did not raise prices on was Weekly Care Club. I will, of course, need to do it eventually. But for now it continues to feel like a fair exchange.

Now, starting next week, we are coming into a period of enhanced focus, experiencing, and knowing ourselves. To set a new standard for the months to come! I look forward to being on the ride with you 👯‍♀️

Thank you for your energetic exchange, New Day sunshines! I will see you today, tomorrow, Wednesday, and Thursday for your care with me 💖
