For pain relief, know THIS

It IS “too expensive”
Good afternoon, sunshine! Thank you for taking a moment to open this message ☀️
My weekend was. . . not what I thought it would be 😂
Remember when last week I was telling you all about how I was headed to Florida, and taking Thursday off to do so, for a Yacht Rock themed best-friends getaway??
Well, it didn’t happen! A hurricane interceded and the whole trip was CANCELED ⛔️
Luckily we were still able to make the most of it!
Thanks to beautiful weather in Chicago, we were able to head to the beach and stage a photo-shoot tribute to amuse ourselves and the other thousands of concert goers who all had to pivot at the last minute 📸🏖️⚓️🎶

Got to use the captain’s hats after all! And yes, that is a framed photo of Yacht Rock Revue 😂🙌
So anyway, I thought you might want an update. Since I talked up this trip so much 😂 #everythinghappeningforareason
Now, to the topic at hand. Is my care “too expensive”?
I bet you’re already thinking that my obvious, knee-jerk response is going to be “NO!! OF COURSE NOT!! Look at everything it helps you with!!”
I’ll come back to “everything it helps you with” in a moment.
First though, let’s talk about pain and “pain relief.”
Despite all the things myself and other chiropractors and Network Spinal practitioners tell you about your nervous system, and spine, and ALL the reasons you need them functioning well, the fact remains that 90 plus percent of people seeking out our care are looking for “pain relief.”
Maybe that was/is you.
That was DEFINITELY me when I started receiving Network Spinal care back in the mid 2000s. And still sometimes now, let’s be real!
💥 Almost no one initially seeks out my care with their nervous system and overall functioning in mind (ok a few of you do, but you’re a minority. And most of the ones who do are STILL trying to “get rid” of something i.e. anxiety, insomnia, poor digestion, etc).
💥Almost no one initially seeks out my care to feel more connected with themselves, the people around them, and the universe (ok, again, a few of you).
💥 Almost no one initially seeks out my care saying to themselves “I believe in magic! And I want to experience more of it in my life!” (🙋♀️ If you think that WAS you I’d love to hear about it!)
Most people initially come to see me because they have pain (some undesirable sensation) and they want it to go away so that they can carry on with their lives.
I want to tell you something though. There are other things that get rid of pain, and a lot more cheaply!
💊There’s ibuprofen.
🍸 There’s booze.
🎶There’s doing something really fun and getting distracted so you’re not thinking of your pain.
🧘♀️ Hey, stretching, moving, and exercise all sometimes help, and they are all nearly free!
If you’re seeing me for “pain relief” there may come a time when you start to think it costs too much money. And I get it!
The reason Network Spinal care is life-changing for so many people is because what it helps with goes so far beyond what most of us would have considered when we started out with this 💫💫💫
Network Spinal is here to have you experience yourself anew, and to bring that experience to everything you do and everyone you meet.
Many of you are likely having that experience, but because we live in a pain-based culture, you’re not even fully aware of these benefits 😦

Often, we are lacking a vocabulary to describe, or even to understand for ourselves, the world of experience beyond “better,” “worse,” “pain,” and “no pain.”
And so we become stuck and limited in our experiences and understandings.
“What starts in vagueness, stays in vagueness,” I’ve heard it said 😆
To transform this limitation, starting the week of October, 26th I will invite you to take part in a free 4-week process such as we have done as a group in the past.
You will be journaling directly after your adjustments in response to a prompt designed by me and designed to be completed in 5 minutes or less 🖌️🌀✨
This is a process I pioneered with clients here at New Day over the past 2 years 💥💥
The overwhelming feedback that I received from you sunshines after our last round was that writing for 5 minutes after your weekly care with me:
- Helped you slow down and be more mindful and aware after your adjustments ⭐️
- Helped you be more aware of your state before, during, and after your adjustments 💛
- Helped give you a sense of being in a process (and not an event) 📈
- Helped you feel more productive in getting results during and after adjustments 💥
- Helped you have a greater sense of the stressors in your life and how they affect you ✨
- Helped you feel more creative and focused– accessing new ideas and “aha’s” after and between adjustments 💓
Through this process you will become even more engaged in your care and even more confident in the benefits you receive from care with me 💓
But most importantly, you will become even more confident in yourself.
I’ve said it before, Network Spinal doesn’t heal you. No technique or person heals you. YOU heal you, using the tools and teachers that emerge on your path 🌀✨💓🌍
My care is meant to be a priceless tool (at a bargain of a price, I think!) to help you have, and continue to have, that realization.
Thank you for your engagement and participation, sunshine 🤩
I look forward to seeing you for your care this week 💖
