Full Blast (?!?)
Maybe we’ll have the real “grand opening” next Monday? π
Are we even in a new year?!
Good morning, New Day! Here we are in 2022. . . but what I keep hearing from you all is that this week doesn’t quite feel like it yet.
Longtime New Day practice member and friend Stacey Saunders has dubbed this the “soft opening” for 2022Β π
I know for me, having both Christmas and New Years on a weekend has contributed to my sense of discombobulated-ness. There was no extra time to process.
Then there has been a slew of covid-related absences and schedule shifts for a lot of folks π±
And then there’s the Chicago Public SchoolsΒ π±π±π±
As some of you may recall, I had already chosen a New Years theme for myself and for our community at New Day.
And that theme is FULL BLAST (!?)
“More like half-blast,” Eddie and I quipped after this past Monday π
What does it all mean?Β
Do we need a new, more realistic theme? Or just a little more time and patience?
For me, I’m continuing to double down on my healthy daily routines to support myselfΒ π₯π₯π₯
I’ve been working out every day, doing my Tracy Anderson method workouts and rowing on the Ergatta (I just found out that I rowed over 420,000 miles in the last year!) π£ββοΈπ―ββοΈπ₯
And I’m back to doing some intermittent fasting.
I’m getting adjusted every week to get my nervous system in tune to my body and environment, doing my Egoscue method exercises and even some work with a PTΒ ππβ¨
And baths. Plenty of baths!
It may just be a time for baby-steps, and patience New Day!Β β¨
Meanwhile, we’ll be here, helping get the pressure off your nerves so that you can get to know and BE the best and brightest you that you can be, despite whatever is going on in the world! π
We look forward to being in this process with you at your adjustments this week and next, New DayΒ β¨β¨β¨
And–one more thing.
Do you know someone who’s having a tough time? It seems like most of us do.Β Let them know about us, if you think we could help.
Or maybe you are someone who’s in our community but hasn’t been in our care for a while? We have a LAST CHANCE New Years offer for you.
BJ Palmer, one of the original founders of chiropractic is famous for having said, βYou never know how far reaching something you may say, think, or do today will affect the lives of millions tomorrowβ πβ¨π
I look forward to hearing from you, and seeing you soon.
