Which emojis best describe how you feel when you get adjusted?
Good evening, New Day lovelies! I hope you got to enjoy the springtime vibes today 💐🌱🌤
Yesterday I had the privilege of spending time with some of the brightest souls of the New Day community at New Day, as we gathered to discuss the why and how of continuing care at New Day beyond the initial months ✨💖💥
This gathering COULD NOT HAVE POSSIBLY gone better, from my perspective. The level of energetic and intellectual engagement from the Souls in attendance was off the charts 📈
After the Gathering, I listened from the adjusting room as several of the participants remained, chatting happily with eachother for another 20-30 minutes beyond the technical end of the event.
These happy sounds were quite literally MUSIC TO MY EARS after some of the dark times in the last 3 years 💃
I know we’ve all been back doing in-person things for quite a while.
And in the case of New Day and your care with me, we were always able to stay open as a resource for you in staying healthy during these difficult times.
I’ve been having the Free Business Networking Happy Hour in person again for about a year.
We’ve even managed to have one in-person Focused Breath workshop at New Day since covid.
But something that I have been noticing that has really changed after the last three years, even after people felt safe to breathe and be in the same room with other unmasked people, is that many people in this society have become VERY (overly?) protective of their time ⏰😬😱
Sometimes lately when you ask someone to commit to something, even if it’s important, their reaction makes you feel like you just asked them to drive you to the airport or something 😂😂😂 #seinfeldreference
It makes me so happy that there are members of the New Day community who are energy-rich enough to feel able to invest time and energy into having their experience of care be even better, and grow their relationship with me and the rest of the New Day community 🌱🌍💖
It makes a big difference for them, for me, and for you!
For one thing, I get to feel a lot more creative when I have a group of engaged practice members that I can go deeper with. And that impacts everyone 😊
One of the MANY ideas that came out of yesterday’s event has to do with how important your awareness is to your experience of care, and what we can before, during, and after our care to maximize our awareness.
OK, so I am clearly not an artist. Nor am I a wizard at graphic design 😂
BUT I created this as a draft and debuted the idea with the Bright Souls at the gathering yesterday.
Circling and scribbling on these little cards not something I would necessarily suggest we do at New Day permanently.
BUT I think it would be fun for the next week or two, if you are willing, to take a moment before and after you get adjusted to register what you notice and feel, and then see what that does for your experience of life on Network Spinal care ✨🌈💥
You can scribble or make notes on the diagram of the human body (a creepily asexual human body, but what can you do?) 😆
You can also use the universal language of emojis to help describe how you feel physically, emotionally, mentally, etc. Feel free to add your own if you don’t see what you want represented!
Often times our thought processes and even our language can be a limiting factor on our ability to have an EXPERIENCE that takes us beyond the ordinary 🌀☀️💓🌍 #networkspinalcaregoals
So I suggest you give it a try with me this week! I look forward to seeing you at your adjustments Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday 💥💥💥
