Good morning and welcome to a new week, New Day! โ˜€๏ธ

How are we feeling about 2023 so far?

Are we feeling lucky? Are we feeling good? ๐Ÿ€๐Ÿ’–๐ŸŒˆ๐Ÿฅ‚

I know for many of us, there is still A LOT that needs to happen before 2023, and so it might feel better to just NOT think about it just yetย  ๐Ÿ˜ฐ๐Ÿ˜ฑ๐Ÿ™

But it is actually important to think about it. Health, wellness, vitality, and a sense of possibility, thatโ€™s what we get when we plan.

Failure to plan means. . . well, you know. Doing everything on the fly rarely leads to feeling great or having great outcomes ๐Ÿ˜ฐ

Every year since New Day has been open (almost 10 now!), we have done a special promotion in December and January to encourage potential new clients to come in and try our care.

New year’s tends to be a time when people are searching for new, healthy practices, and are more open to taking the time and initiative to try them โ˜€๏ธ๐Ÿ’ฅ

And so it has always been important to us at New Day to make sure we are getting the word out about this life-changing care at this very pivotal time of the year.

This year, however, I want to really focus most on YOU– our existing clients and community.

At New Day we have so many bright and wonderful souls who have been pursuing Network Spinal care with me regularly over the years. These ongoing care clients do so much to bring energy to the adjusting room, to the practice, and to me ๐Ÿ’–โœจ๐ŸŒ€๐ŸŒ

And for those of you who are part of Weekly Care Club, you additionally play a very important role in guaranteeing New Dayโ€™s continued sustainability and existence โ˜€๏ธโœจ

There are also members of our New Day community who are more on and off with their care. And I love you too ๐Ÿ˜

And some souls out there who never engaged in care with me, but continue to engage with our community (I know some of you read these messages as well, and I appreciate you) ๐Ÿ˜Š

I want to offer you something special this holiday season, to encourage you and reward you for continuing to make this life-changing care a priority so that the effects can ripple out into your future life.

Aire Ancient Baths in Chicago

On January 1st of 2023, Iโ€™m going to raffle off an experience for two at Aire Ancient Baths (a $290 value) to one of our lucky New Day community members.

Aire Ancient Baths, if you donโ€™t know,ย  is this amazing spa where you get to float in salt water, and use steam rooms, cold plunges, and hot tubs, etc. It’s amazing ๐ŸŒŠโœจ๐Ÿ›€

You will receive 1 entry for every single appointment you have scheduled with me at New Day through March 31st of 2023 ๐Ÿ’ฅ๐Ÿ’ฅ๐Ÿ’ฅ

If you do weekly care with me, thatโ€™s 12 entries for the spa experience for 2

Scheduling through March 31st will give you a solid 3 months to get your healthy habits going in the New Year.

Research shows that it generally takes about 3 months of doing something regularly to make it a habit. This is why in many diet, fitness, and health plans, a 12-week initial commitment is considered the minimum baseline.

Many of you have already been making care a habit for a while, so going online and scheduling yourself through March 31st should be pretty easy ๐Ÿ’ƒ

For others, I hope having this raffle is just the encouragement you need to really prioritize something that has helped you in the past, and does help you when you remember to schedule it in.

I hear over and over again, from clients who have stopped care with me or have moved away and then ended up coming back, that there is just nothing like this โœจ๐ŸŒ๐Ÿ’–๐ŸŒ€

Itโ€™s really true. For example, Iโ€™m basically planning on driving to Rockford and setting up my adjusting table in a corner at a shopping mall so that me and my friend who practices Network Spinal in Madison can meet halfway and adjust each other. Thatโ€™s how special and important this is ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ™โœจ

And of course, if youโ€™re reading this message and decide to try my care for the first time and you go online and make an initial appointment, thatโ€™s 1 entry for the January 1st raffle. Youโ€™re part of this too!

hile I have your attention, I want to leave you with a couple of quick notes on scheduling at New Day โ˜€๏ธ

As some of you reading this will remember, we actually had a pretty major change at New Day over the past year, when we transitioned to online scheduling.

Before online scheduling, our office was entirely reliant on the constant work of a full-timeย front office employee.

And while it was really nice to have someone working tirelessly to greet you, take your phone calls, take payments, schedule you, and reschedule you, it became really difficult to keep someone on staff to do that.

It was also massively inefficient and tiring for the employee, and at times, for me ๐Ÿ˜ฐ๐Ÿ˜ฑ๐Ÿ˜‚

And it often left me (and you?) with the feeling that we were constantly nagging you and micromanaging you, instead of letting you take the reins on the how and when of your care.

And so with all of these factors, and helped by the changes in the world that made online, self-serve everything ubiquitous, there was a fundamental change in the way New Day was able to function ๐ŸŒโ˜€๏ธ๐Ÿ‘

Right now, it would not be possible for me to see the number of clients that I currently see if it werenโ€™t for you all helping and taking an active role in your scheduling, canceling, and rescheduling. So I really, really thank you for that.

For those of you who have NOT embraced online scheduling yet, I need to encourage you to please help me with this.

I literally wake up in the middle of the night thinking about appointments that clients have asked for– over text, in the adjusting room, and over email– and worry that I may or may not have remembered to schedule them. These types of concerns continue to be a drag on my energy and focus ๐Ÿ˜ฑ

Itโ€™s definitely NOT your fault!

When you ask me to schedule you, I am in the habit of sayingย itโ€™s no problem and then doing it. I am an agreeable person and I am trying to be helpful. And youโ€™re just one person, so I should be able to handle it, right??

What Iโ€™m telling you though is that it does add up and can be really stressful for me at times. And I am bad at saying “no,” especially when I’m in the adjusting room. Thank you for your understanding ๐Ÿ’“

Some of you are newer and just havenโ€™t gotten the chance to try the online scheduling system yet. I hope this upcoming raffle can be your encouragement!

Thank you ever so much for staying connected and engaged, New Day. I look forward to seeing you at your adjustments with me this week ๐Ÿ˜Š
