Sunday! Sunday! Sunday!
THIS SUNDAY! Come out and shine with us
Hey New Day!! You might have seen or heard already that we have something special planned for this Sunday (and also Friday, Saturday, and next Wednesday, but more on that below).
This Sunday from 1-4PM Dr. Virginia and I will be in Welles Park– just a block from the practice– hosting a good-times, Network Spinal jamboree to support Common Pantry.
Forecast is 66 and sunny. Are you coming??
I know that because we have A LOT of events coming up in the next few days (see below!), and that this Community Investment Day is different than the ones we have had in the past, all this might be a little confusing.
Here are your frequently asked questions, answered.
Q: Do I need to sign up or RSVP ahead of time?
A: Nope, just show up in the 1-4PM time window! That said, there are no time “slots” to sign up for. It’s first come, first served. We predict that there will be a nice, easy “flow” to people arriving and leaving the event.
Q: So, what will you all be doing?
A: Dr. Virginia and I will be offering free adjustments to you, and whoever you bring, during the time frame. We will each have 2 adjusting tables. Adjustments will be free, with a cash donation that we will use to buy organic eggs and produce to donate to Common Pantry.
Q: Where will you be in the park?
A: Initially I had emphasized that it would be hard to pick a good location ahead of time and that we would post updates on the Facebook Event.
However, upon reflection, I have concluded that because Welles Park is not a very big park, you should just head for the gazebo. We will be somewhere in the vicinity of the gazebo (and with 4 adjusting tables it will be hard to miss us)
It would still be great if you could RSVP to the event on Facebook though, as this does help people to find out about the event, so please do that too!
Just head toward the gazebo. You will find us 🙂
Q: Is there a suggested donation?
A: Considering that one dozen free-range eggs from River Valley Farmer’s table cost about $7, and our adjustments normally cost $74, something between those amounts that you can free from your budget, and has you feel good to give, will be accepted gladly 🙂
Q: Can I bring a friend?
A: Yes. This is actually a great opportunity to introduce a person or people to our community and care! We are happy to see them and appreciate your thinking to extend an invitation to them.
Q: Do I need to bring anything?
A: You might want to bring a lawn chair. This event is also an opportunity to be social in a safe, outdoor space. You may also, depending on the flow, need to wait for your adjustment, in which case a chair might also be nice.
Q: Why are you doing this?
A: Read my last blog for more info!
Thank you for your enthusiasm, New Day!
