Why I came to New Day:
I learned about New Day and Dr Katie through Women Belong a women’s networking group. She came as a visitor and we did a one to one about a year ago in September. During our one to one, she told me more about the type of chiropractic care she practices called Network Care which I had never heard about before. I was really intrigued about what it is and how this type of care helps people. My main concern, I remember this like it was yesterday, was just not having enough energy. I didn’t have enough time to work out (or so I thought). I had the time in the mornings or in the evenings and I just couldn’t find the time to develop a routine around working out. Which is strange since I have always been active before my pregnancy and before a major illness. I gave this new method of healing a try and it’s been life changing for me.
My chiropractic results:
I didn’t start seeing results immediately and I was very skeptical of you know whether or not this was working. Two months into my care, I remembered that the first couple of adjustments I received I felt really happy in my life and I felt something in my body. But I didn’t have the energy right away so I promised myself that I would commit to six months or a year. During this time I continue to educate myself about Network Care and what it can do you for. I was in the third month when I started feeling more energy being able to workout and doing things with my daughter more on the weekends or in the evenings. In January about four or five months, I started running regularly like 2 or 3 times a week. I started out with like 2 to 3 miles in each session and then by May of 2019 I began running 4 times a week and doing long run from the weekend. On May 25, I completed my 1st long run 10 miles and this past weekend I completed a 22 miles. And, I’m getting ready to run the marathon on October 6, 2019. Huge transformation in just one year.
Why I continue my care with Dr. Katie:
The week over week improvements. It’s not only the energy but the physical energy to be able to workout with the added mental focus. I see improvements there and when I started working out 3 times a week, I said that I obviously have to keep doing this because it’s working. It’s helping me stay focused, helping me have a better posture and more clear minded.
