How do you explain chiropactic?

How do you explain the care you get at New Day to friends and family?  Our care may help you feel good, feel less pain, feel more relaxed, more energized, or more peaceful.  But in our culture wellness care isn’t always understood in the mainstream consciousness, and that can sometimes make our care feel hard to explain.

Somehow, sometime in recent history, chiropractic and back pain got all mixed up with one another. Chiropractors became “back pain” doctors, and anyone seeing a chiropractor must have a “bad back.”  Many chiropractors accepted this limited definition of chiropractic because it felt easier to explain in a culture oriented toward pain avoidance and crisis management.

Chiropractic helps the brain and the body communicate better so that you can be as healthy as possible.  Chiropractors do this by working with the spine, which is the center of the connection between the brain and the body; the connection between how you experience your body and how you experience the world around you.  That’s it. That is the who, what, where, when, how, and why of chiropractic care.

Chiropractic wasn’t created to treat pain or any disease.  However, by helping your body be as healthy as possible by addressing the spine, many health “miracles” have occurred for millions of people.

But who doesn’t want to feel good?  Maybe you do have a “bad back” you’re looking for relief from. Pain relief can be a powerful side effect of jump-starting the healing process.  Come and see us!
