Since getting back from Denver last Monday morning Since getting back from Denver last Monday morning, I have been integrating the amazing experiences I had at the 12 Stages Phenomenon event with Donny Epstein. There, we learned and EXPERIENCED all the energetic nuances to Donny's 12 Stages model I've been chewing on everything since then. And I had a great opportunity to workshop some of this with the Bright Souls in attendance at the Bright Souls Gathering on "Decoding Your Movements on the Table." Since I got back, many of you have been asking what my takeaways were from Donny's teaching. And as I've shared with some of you, one of my biggest takeaways is probably one of the dumbest and most obvious takeaways someone in my position could have. That takeaway being: "Wow, this stuff really works!" Seriously, though. As many of you are aware, I don't always get adjusted all that often because there aren't that many Network Spinal practitioners around (those of you who travel distances to see me have an acute awareness of this). So even though I do the 12 Stages work with myself, get Network Spinal care here and there, and receive work from many other talented healing practitioners throughout the Chicagoland, it can still be a big (obvious) revelation for my nervous system when I go to an event FOR EXAMPLE: my knee. I've been having a "knee thing." And I've been doing all the things for it (stretching, massages, icing, etc). In a very energy neutral way of course. When I got back from the program last Monday, it wasn't JUST that my knee felt better. It was that my knee felt better AND I had a new awareness of the entire situation Suddenly, I could feel EXACTLY what I have been doing when bending over clients that is making my knee worse. And I could feel how to change that in the moment. I was suddenly able to stretch and move my head and neck, effortlessly and intuitively, in a way that helped me (and my knee as part of all of that). Hopefully, you can relate to all of this!
